This spot was great, had it all to ourselves the first two nights. Even when more people did arrive it still felt like we were alone, campsites are spaced out and have trees in between giving us more privacy. Had the lake just a short walk from our camper, if camping in summer bring plenty mosquito repellent.

We camped here for 4 nights in early August, 2022. We camped here for 4 nights in early August, 2022. We randomly drove to the right as we went in (I oddly had info on a different campground in my head) and saw that #9 was open - quickly backed in and went down to pay. Super happy we grabbed this site, as it was long, level and mostly private. No one on 3 sides of us, just the site in front of us. There are only two sites in that loop - 9 & 10. Right after we got parked, a giant 5th wheel pulled in and the driver asked if we were leaving. They had to squeeze into a site in the other loop.
Our price reflects the senior discount.
Dry camping - didn't use the facilities, except for garbage. Small kayak launch behind us, but kind of a rough spur going down to it.
Not a great view of the lake from our site, but again, long, level, quiet and really no one around us!
FABULOUS place to base from to visit Pictured Rocks & Munising!
My notes say we did not have cell here... just a bit behind in posting reviews!

(We did arrive later in the day, around 5pm) Campground is typical NF campground with 2 loops and a vault toilet for each. Much nice toilet in Loop 1 - 8. Handpump for water (a little discolored) Nothing exciting except a beautiful lake and very quiet! We were able to get a bar or 2 of Verizon and some ATT with our additional antennae. Sites are all large, flat and clean with fire rings in a mature forest setting.
