The only drawback is the closest water and dumping locations are in Moab.

We stayed in the Cayuse loop of the campground, site 67. We loved the privacy of the site with shrubs all around us. No road noise and the price was right, $10 with the Senior parks pass, self pay. Very clean vault toilets and friendly campground hosts.

We would agree with many previous reviewers that the location is good for visiting canyonlands, Arches, and Moab sites. And I think that is the main selling point here. The campground is in some rolling hills of Pinion and Juniper. You should not walk away from roads or trails so as not to destroy the cryptobiotic crust.
We prefer remote solitary sites and this is not that, but the campground is clean, as quiet as you might expect on a beautiful weekend in the Moab area, and about equidistant to the two parks. It is a little more than a half mile off the paved 313 on a fairly rough graveled road. The pit toilets are quite clean. There is a garbage dumpster, but no water. Maybe only a fourth of the sites would support our 30 ft trailer.
There is much single track biking right from the campground. One end of the White Rim trail is close. The graveled road goes a long way past this campground, maybe to the Green River, and there are some dispersed campsites out that road. Nothing for larger rigs though, and the road gets more rough.
If we ever did come back to the Moab area, we would probably stay here.

We checked out the campground a few days prior to needing a site, the host advised us to arrive around 9 - 10 o'clock AM and wait for a site to open. It worked out well, If you come in after lunch there probably will not be an open site.

Stayed here 8/17-20 on the way to Dinosaur NM to meet some friends and could have easily spent a few more days. Well laid-out, sites are spread out well - about 50 yards between sites, all sites had a level pad and drained well (it rained some all 3 days - monsoon) and quiet. When we pulled in on Thurs. afternoon there was only 2 sites taken... it was almost like boondocking.
Connectivity is sketchy, me 1 bar Verizon him 1 bar AT&T, but we both could call out. Dry camp (no water but same in the NP) but an on-site trash dumpster and access was short and well maintained. Very clean CG and acceptable johns.
I kind of hate to recommend CG's like this to overload them but this is a gem.

We had two vans, two families on one site. There was plenty of room. There are some really good biking trails here - no need to move - you can ride from the camp. Good trails for the little ones also. Our 4 year old grandson loved it there. There was only one ATV in the camp and it wasn't used. Everyone was there to bike which made for a lovely environment; no noise.
Easy access to Dead Horse Point and Canyonlands. There is BLM camping but I felt it was the worth the $20 site fee.
Access is super easy. No rutted roads here!
