I booked this place for an afternoon swim and rest. No water in the pool just a dry dusty unlevel camp spot.

Site was not level. Just a dusty hot place to park. I booked this to swim and rest - should not advertise an amenity that isn't available

Sites were extremely close together. We asked to move sites, we were told no prob just pick a spot. We moved them were told we couldn't take that specific spot. We got 14" of snow while we were here, road out froze and made it difficult to get out. Pool and clubhouse were closed, showers are decent.
Starlink - good reception

Check in was easy. Pads were ok and easily accessible. The pool had no water so couldn’t use it. There is a decent dog park to let your dog run. Weather is about 10 degrees cooler than Albuquerque so was nice.
camper-826143 would stay here again

Called the club and were informed yes there were a few campgrounds in the system that charged for camping on top of the reservation fee. I blame our club for not making that clear on their website. But of all the places we have stayed in the ROD's affiliated rv parks this place was marginal. Bathrooms were decent but not real clean. Site was level. Laundry was ok and the machines worked. Ok it was an rv park in late fall but it just seemed kinda........dismal. If we had known about the camping fees we would have stayed closer to Albuquerque. Live and learn.

We will go to Edgewood and study next time. The only plus is it is very quiet.

We were here for one night, thank goodness we had not planned on staying longer. This is far from a resort. Sites are extremely close together. Where to begin. Entering the park is a narrow rock lined drive beside the gas station. Just hope no one is trying to exit while you're entering. You have to disconnect your tow vehicle by the office if your going to the sites on the upper level. I booked through coast to coast which is normally $10 plus some tax, electric or other minimal fee, here I was told $25 a night plus $6 for electric. so $41 per night. The desk staff said I hate doing coast to coast people.
Upon check in I asked if my packages had arrived, he told me "I don't work for the post office!"
Sites on the upper part are backed up end to end and "tiny". our electric hookup was on the passenger side and water and sewer were on the drivers side.

Poor access, on top of each other, sent to site that already had a camper there, muddy, asked staff things to do in the area and he said “nothing, it’s the off season”, it’s mid August.

Sites vary from narrow to REALLY narrow. Our sides extended to edge of site on both sides. A tall power panel restricted where we could open slides.
Staff is friendly and proximity to Rt 66 good.
