Too windy. Road in is challenging. No rocks to block you from the 25-50mph wind gusts common here. Unless you're in a camper, do not camp here in a tent. Highly not recommended as the winds vary

We stayed the night of 5/16/21. The site was quickly accessible from highway 40 and my AWD CRV did not have any issues going down the dirt rod to the sites but the road does narrow the further you drive down it so larger rigs may get scratched up. We only had one other neighbor parked about 100 yards away and could only see the very top of the trailer over the brush. The sites are dry and there are no bathrooms so bring plenty of water and a shovel. The site that we stayed at was flat and large enough to fit multiple rigs. There was an existing fire rock ring but the wind at night significantly picked up so I snuffed our fire out quickly because it was blowing embers to the nearby brush, I do not know what the wind is like the rest of the year but based on my experience, I do not recommend a fire. There was just the faintest amount of road noise when we arrived at 5pm but after the wind picked up in the evening, the highway could not be heard. The stars at night were beautiful and highway 40 became visible to the SE, not as wild, but a nice view. Cell signal was intermittent but I have at&t and my fiancée has T-mobile and she had stronger signal than I did. We had a great time here and would happily stay again.

We stayed in the campsite about 1/2 a mile down Hidden Hill Road. The road is dirt and at times really un-even. The weight of some of the items in our pantry pushed the door open, and fortunately didn't create too much of a mess. The site itself was loop with a tree in the middle, so it was easy to pull through and could easily fit a second rig. This is the best/biggest campsite along the road there are a few smaller sites about 1/2 mile further down (34.791472, -115.596096) but I wouldn't take an RV past that point. We didn't see anyone the entire time we were there and had to leave early because of a high wind weather warning.
We saw some pretty colorful birds while we were here and enjoyed the desert landscape. Cell service was good for work, though no TV reception.
