Restrooms are clean and also have showers.
Laundry room is clean and nice. $3 a machine for wash.
The bad:
WiFi signal is 1 to 2 bars. Connects but then disconnects quickly. Speeds when it connected were 1.2 Mbps. You have to accept the WiFi use on the browser page, so this WiFi does not work for TVs.
The event center is closed. It could have potential if it were open cause the event center is next to the water with a great view.
For quietness, friendly neighbors, close to the sea wall and other locations in Galveston, I recommend.

First, the bad: These sites are TINY. Our 37' rig fit in length no problem but we had very little room side to side from our neighbors. See pictures I posted about the site sizes.
We were here to be close to someone in a medical facility, so the location mattered more than the site sizes.
The location is ideal, close to everything in town just off 61st street. Easy to get to beaches, Moody Gardens, grocery store, restaurants and the Strand/medical areas. There is a good laundry room and the front office staff is helpful. We had an issue a few days into our stay with our electrical pedestal and they sent someone over within an hour, even taking into account that the maintenance guy had driven to Houston to pick up things. He still had our 50Amp fixed within 90 minutes and we were able to use the 30Amp in the meantime. They accepted and held packages for us. The bathrooms are in decent shape. The whole property does have the appearance of a property near the sea with typical salt water types of fading paint in some places. Considering the location 150 feet from salt water, that is expected and they clearly do maintain it well in order to keep that from becoming a bigger problem. While we were there they shut off the water for 5 hours on each of two days but also preannounced it by several days so we could prepare and fill tanks.
Next to the gravel pads there are small concrete patios that make a nice outdoor space to enjoy. This makes the space quite usable even though the sites are tight. The wind blows a lot here so awnings pretty much stay in all the time. There is really not much space beyond an awning's reach on each patio.
The marina is adjacent and makes for a nice walk with some benches to sit on and watch the boats or the birds.
Campground Wifi was good and free. There appears to be a paid version that we did not try out that is even faster. Cellular internet was good on all providers -- Sprint/Calyx, Verizon, Tmobile and AT&T all were excellent (in the 20s and higher sometimes up to 80 Mbps). There were times of some cellular congestion on the weekend but they were short lived. Overall, one of the better connected locations we have been.
This campground is quiet on the weekdays and busy on the weekends. On Fridays the sites fill up almost completely and then on Sunday they disappear just as quickly. There are local feral and some marina or neighbor owned cats who hang out. The birds are plentiful and our indoor cat loved watching them all over.
Dog friendly but there's a $25 pet fee per stay for as many pets as you have, I believe. They did not charge us for our cat, he stays inside and our dog was not with us this stay.

The sites on one side are tight, but we have our 41 foot rig here - and fit. Besides, if I’m outside, I’m walking the 200 feet to the water to view. Great sunsets we work remote, and excellent cell coverage with Verizon.

We stayed a few days here in the middle of June. Nice level, concrete, back in site. They had a picnic table and grill. The lazy river was not huge but really nice. The pool was clean and the kids used it a lot. Just a short walk or drive across the street to the beach. Wi-Fi was very slow and service with AT&T and Verizon was pretty minimal. It is a bit of a drive to get to any of the shops /tourist areas. All in all, it was a good experience and we would for sure stay again.

The restaurant on site is under renovation. Looks like it will be a nice place when it’s completed.
