We mistakenly found this campground and were thrilled! Very clean, well kept. One building houses the laundry (complete with a basket and folding table), a small library, even a popcorn machine! The pavilion is huge and is usually ready for anyone to enjoy a fire in the fireplace. The manager on site has run it for a long time and you can tell he takes pride in his work! The owners (apparently new) seem to understand what campers want and need.

This is a small family owned Campground on the outskirts of Franklin North Carolina. It is very well-maintained, some of the sites are fairly close together. The grounds are well-kept with beautiful landscaping. Restrooms and showers are very clean.

Had the best lot in the house, campsite 21. Beautiful deck just off the gravel pad that looked out over the property. It is close to things, clean, and we felt safe. I did not try Verizon but ATT was rock solid.
Constantly 30Mb+ down and 10Mb+ up.
The place is maintained well and has great gazebo with games.

Franklin, NC was selected as a destination for it's location in the path of totality during the solar eclipse. We had not stayed here previously so did not know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find a relatively small (30 sites), well-maintained and private campground. Since we were here for the eclipse event, the owners charged an additional amount per campsite that included several meals, happy hours, t-shirts and many other assorted extras. It was well worth the premium!
All sites are full-hookup including wifi and cable. Some of the back-in sites require 4-wheel drive but once setup, are great sites.
The campground is close to downtown Franklin and 30 minutes to the Highlands, NC resort area. Additionally, several festivals were in progress during our stay. Lots of options to explore the surrounding area, e.g., hiking and zip-lining or hanging out at the Lazy Hiker Brewing Company.
Owners and hosts were very accommodating and friendly--we will definitely return!
