We tried to stay here and didn’t arrive until after they had closed the office. Their website allowed for reservations and said you could arrive up to 9pm so we proceeded to a site. Their website wouldn’t let payment go through, so I called and left a message letting them know my name, contact information, which site we were in, and that I’d be in the office when it opened to pay. Shortly after, someone named Michelle knocked on our door and after discussing the situation said it was fine to come to the office at 9am the next day to pay. Around 9:30pm a truck pulled up with 2 different people who knocked on our door again (I didn’t get their names). The woman was very cordial and said that we needed to come to the office to pay now and that we needed to move to a different site, which we were fine doing. My husband worked on packing up to move while I followed her to the office. The man then proceeded to berate my husband while he was packing up to move calling us thief’s and screaming to charge us double along with many other derogatory names. At this point we decided we no longer wanted to stay and just packed up to leave with the man yelling obscenities at us the whole time. Definitely do not recommend this place!

Friendly and helpful staff. I’m a work camper and was there for 5 months, and will be back this year. There are park rules, easy to follow. Spots are tight, but staff will help you get in.

Next night… different story. We called before we left Yellowstone and asked is our same spot was available and would be there about 30 minutes ..lady said no problem.
Got there crazy man griped us out A. No Reservations (well sorry lady on phone stated most open and night before was way open) B. Sarcastic “welcome to Yellowstone” C. Griped because he hadn’t had his dinner!!!!
Might want to sell or retire if you don’t like having a rv camping spot business what it sounds like to me and might want to be a little more friendly to customers for repeat business.
It was the anniversary of my mom’s death (died in a fire) and you might be a little more sensitive to what others are going through than having a late dinner!
Also would only accept cash!

We were using laundry facilities and some guy who identified as the staff started screaming we were making to much noise and to remove our belongings off his property or he will do it for us. I have no other words than this guy is off his rocker. Check other sites before staying here. They all seem to have the same experience. Plenty of other places in town to stay.

Friendly staff, stayed 5 months for workamper job. Neat and clean! Never had an issue. Full hookups and laundry. Stayed in pull through site. Those that are good positive RV’ers will have no problems here. Look at the rules before booking.

Our site was not big enough to park our truck in it, so we had to park as ways away, not even in the park. Most of the many parks in town looked similar. We had booked another newer nicer park, but moving here saved us about $125 for two nights. Since most people are here to venture into the park, having a camping style spot is not usually the requirement. Cell service, but very sketchy Wi-Fi.

Their description is totally inaccurate! You are squeezed in one on top of the other in a gravel/dirt parking lot. Tight corners make it almost impossible to maneuver. When I made my reservation (made in December 2022 for reservation in July 2023 for a 10 day stay) I called to be sure we would fit in our spot for sure as van is 23 ft long and adding a hitch mounted storage and bike rack to it making it about 28 ft long total. I was told that we would have no problem in spot 2 a back in spot. Perfect! We show up 7 months after making the reservation and they, with no notice, have decided to move us into a different spot that we now don’t fit in. Our nose of the van is in the road and we can’t access our cargo container or open our back doors of our van unless we pull out into the driveway. The owner had no care in the world about it. Jacob, the owner told us “you reserve spaces not the lot #”. We could take this spot they had decided was ours or not, they do not issue refunds. The space they decide it was. Ours has no picnic table does not accommodate the length of our vehicle and the dump station is 2 ft from our camper van window, which stinks because there’s people constantly driving up and using it, even folks that do not camp here are dumping their poo. The owner’s dad is a drunk who goes around harassing guests until the cops are called. Found out this is a regular occurrence.

We wound up having a nice conversation with Mike the owner. I saw some big rigs there so I’m not sure why others are talking about when saying it isn’t big rig friendly. The large pull through are accessible through a large back lot. The WiFi was great for our needs (streaming and gaming) and all out hook ups worked flawlessly. Just follow the park rules (not a big deal) and you’re good.

DO NOT STAY AT Fox Den RV Park. We reserved a site with Fox Den because they advertised Big Rig Friendly, THIS IS NOT TRUE. When we arrived, they put us in site 11 but the tree branches were in the way of opening the slide outs, we moved down to site 6 and had the same problem. I waked over to the office and advised the woman in the office we wanted a refund due to the inability to open up our slide outs (We have 45-foot Bus 13.5 feet tall and took photos to prove it) she then called the owner to come down to talk to me. The owner came and pounded on the Bus door and yelled at my wife to move out of site 6 in a very threatening manner. I called over to him from the car I just disconnected from the buss. He did the same to me even though the woman advised him of the problem. I advised him again of the problem, he did not care and said all the trees were trimmed to the same height and I could go into site 11 or leave. I advised the owner we were going to leave, he refused to refund our payment so I advised I would call the bank to charge back the full amount. I did notice that we were the only Big Rig in the park, the rest were travel trailers. The previous owners apparently were very nice, and the reviews show that they were kind and respectful to their guests. The current owner took over in Approximately June of 2021 (form what I read online) and you'll note the reviews are very bad since then. Extremely Disrespectful people. Find reviews by searching (Fox Den RV Park Yellowstone Reviews) on your Apple iPhone not sure on an Android. I plan to post our experience on other RV review sites and the Face Book page for Fox Den although I'm sure they will pull it off. All I can say is Walmart is a better option. FYI-The bank has already processed my credit card charge back and returned my money. William C. Gerard

Be careful of arrival time. We had to change plans and get there late and they almost refused us since it was past quiet hours. Then they said they’d be willing to move us to a pull through so it was easier later at night with a$10 extra fee for pull through.

“Most unprofessional management”
noted 6/19/2022
One of the most unprofessional places I’ve dealt with. Given the unprecedented rainfall, flooding, alternating Yellowstone Park admission, and north park closure, we didn’t have much choice but to cancel. After being in contact with Fox Den and watching for alerts from NPS, we politely asked for them to reconsider their cancellation policy which is 75% of the reservation. Their response: not gonna happen. Professional, considerate, and the highest level customer service. What’s not gonna happen is that we, my family, or any of my friends will stay here.
