It is very close to the west gate of Yellowstone and it is within walking distance of the little town of West Yellowstone. There are groceries, drug store, gas, restaurants, ice cream, souvenier stores both cheap and fancy. You can order breakfast at Earnie's Sandwich shop the day before, pick it up at 7am and be at the gate by 7:10.
I did not see any child sized picnic tables, but they weren't massive either. Good for 4 normal sized people.
We could hear live music from the patio of The Bison Bar and it was pretty good quality music that stopped before 10PM. No one was rowdy or loud in the camp.
The wifi was pretty good for normal browsing, I got some work done on a paper I was writing.
I would go back.

We have a place to sleep and we’re in West Yellowstone.

This campground is the best campground you can get closest to the YNP west entrance. It is all gravel. There are lots of tall trees providing shade. Each site has a picnic table and most sights have a cement pad to put chairs on. Each site is back-to-back with another so it is tight. However, we were not there most of the day so it was not big deal. To get the number of nights we wanted, we agreed to move mid-stay. We started on site 20 which had a full size picnic table and the cement pad. Site 16 did not have a cement pad and it had a child sized picnic table. We were able to move as soon as the other site was vacated. The hosts are very friendly and willing to help as possible. Cannot comment on the bath house as we did not use it. The laundry was closed. The wi-fi was strong even in the evening when everyone comes back. At the time of this review, there is a hotel being built next door. The parking lot is still dirt with a huge dirt pile next to the campground. Be aware that you will have dust everywhere. Not the campgrounds fault and hopefully it will be finished soon. Check out the Ernie's Bakery / Sandwich shop a block away. Excellent!

Shitty little RV park that can charge high rates due to its location. It was a great location for what we wanted, Yellowstone and Hebgen Lake. Amenities are non existent and sites are very tight. Laundry wasn’t functional during our visit and bathrooms were off and on functional.

Imagine 25 campsites shoehorned into someone’s backyard, right in the middle of a town...road traffic on all sides and somehow they are trying to charge some of the highest nightly rates anywhere and they charge extra fees per person!?!!!

We are a 44 foot motorhome and made reservations 2 months in advance and received one of their two pullthru sites.Gravel pad with a concrete patio and picnic table. Hookups were good. Sites are close together but you are in the town of West Yellowstone. This place is almost $100 cheaper than Grizzly RV Park which is very nice but not worth the extra cost. If you are self contained, this is perfect as bathrooms were below average, just old. Tress are in the campground which made it nice. You are two blocks away from the main drag of West Yellowstone and in the park within 5 minutes. If you're looking for a great view, this is not the spot for you. If you are looking for a good price, level site, friendly neighbors and easy access to the park, this is the one!

Stayed there 2012 and again 2015. Clean, not too loud during day and quiet at night. Laundry room and bath rooms clean but older. Gravel parking in the trees. Back in spots for small trailer only less than 20 feet. Some pull through. Price goes up when tourist season comes, try to get there first part of May.
