Gravel or grass would make sitting outside more comfortable and pleasant. Only 1 bar of Wi-Fi so basically no wifi, although as we were leaving as we drive two sites up there was full wifi. Our Verizon cell service only had 1 bar as well. Not a Campground problem but good to know.

Due to heat wave grass is mostly dead. FHU with 50amps during this heat wave.
Chris was great and met us.
More sites are planned and yes, there are long term units. But the sites are clean.
This is NOT a resort, not would I expect a resort here, but if you want to explore the Santa Fe trail then good place to stay
Gatorcq would stay here again

We stayed one night here on our way from Wyoming back to Texas. This is a brand new RV park with 10 spots and everything was perfect. Easy to find and all spots are pull through that can accommodate nearly any rig. The owners were very pleasant and met me as soon as I pulled in. They told us about the few restaurants in town and also recommended that we visit the Amache WW II Japanese-American internment camp, which is less than 5 minutes away. My family and I were amazed at this piece of history I never knew existed. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Choate for a wonderful experience.
