Overall Rating
Overall, this location is great. We needed an easy in and out, affordable, quiet. We found it at Leach! The host met us at the office area. We stopped there before driving down to the sites. We completed a registration form and paid using a credit card through the office computer. The host rode his bicycle down and showed us where to p... more
Overall, this location is great. We needed an easy in and out, affordable, quiet. We found it at Leach! The host met us at the office area. We stopped there before driving down to the sites. We completed a registration form and paid using a credit card through the office computer. The host rode his bicycle down and showed us where to park. There are 4 connections at one pole, but the host showed us where to park so it was all good! Site was level and grass, some gravel. An added bonus is the paved walking and bike path through town and the great wildlife!

The lower area has plenty of room IF each pole was one site BUT it has 4 hookups. We came on a Thursday and there was a lot of empty spots. We were not sure how crowded it would be by the weekend so we moved to Wolden County Park. There is not a site map. We did navigate around all turns with a 43’ RV with a 20’ car trailer. The... more
The lower area has plenty of room IF each pole was one site BUT it has 4 hookups. We came on a Thursday and there was a lot of empty spots. We were not sure how crowded it would be by the weekend so we moved to Wolden County Park.
There is not a site map.
We did navigate around all turns with a 43’ RV with a 20’ car trailer.
There are long term workers that live here.

First off there are not 200 sites, you might get 50 campers in the park. They have 4 sites on each pole, so you have to park so it would be two campers back to back on both sides of the pole. There is water and 30 amp for 4 campers at each site. I seriously doubt they ever fill up. Nice mature trees shade about half the spots and you a... more
First off there are not 200 sites, you might get 50 campers in the park. They have 4 sites on each pole, so you have to park so it would be two campers back to back on both sides of the pole. There is water and 30 amp for 4 campers at each site. I seriously doubt they ever fill up. Nice mature trees shade about half the spots and you are parking on grass. Very convenient for shopping close to the center of town, walmart , menards, dollar tree, hy vee and fareway are all close.
