Overall Rating
This county park has 24 first come, first serve sites, some full hookup and some water and electric. We had a site with 30 amp service. The sites are widely spaced with grass between sites. Parking is on gravel next to a concrete pad which has a picnic table. There is a fire pit at each site. There are quite a few large trees that provide shade to some of the sites. There is a playground for kids. There are 2 bathroom facilities. The older one has 2 toilet stalls and 1 shower; the new one has 2 full bathrooms. There is a concrete hiking/biking path and nature center adjacent to the campground. Within walking distance is a boat ramp and a swimming beach. This park was a lovely place to spend a few quiet days.
