When we got there the ranger station was not manned, but they had instructions posted. We just went and found our spot. There was a receipt and campground rules with our name on it on our site post.
Bathrooms were clean. Two toilet stalls and two showers in each bathroom. One shower was for handicapped. There was a code to get into the bathrooms as well as to get into the front gate after hours.
Would definitely stay here again!

Mr. Dodge the campground host does and excellent job of maintaining the entire facility, the tank dumping station looks brand new.
Five stars are not enough, we will definitely be staying here again.

We were passing through the area and found this wonderful spot ! Clean, friendly , full hookups and reasonable. Doug Smith went out of his way to help make our short stay great and memorable. Kudos to him! Would highly recommend this place!

I wish I could leave a more positive review because there are nice aspects to this CG. We stayed on this visit just a little over a year after our first visit here (which we thoroughly enjoyed) and had a completely different impression. The camp host was brand new to RVing herself and though friendly, she was unprofessional and intent on sharing the drama of problems with the staff in the park (not something we encouraged or wanted to know) and honestly clueless about almost everything relative to RV camping.
The main problem is the management is lacking and unresponsive. While there, we awoke the fourth morning to workers arriving early to dig up and install new sewer hook ups. We were not notified before hand this was going to happen. We had to move our rig from our site for several hours, causing us to miss out on our plans for the day. Once the works was done we returned to a spot with nothing but loose sand. We understand that improvements are a positive thing, just wish they had let us know ahead of time. We politely requested to be refunded for the one day of our visit which had cost us to miss a planned (and paid for) activity with friends as compensation for the debacle. After 3 different discussions with the management since then, we are still waiting on the promised refund almost 8 weeks later.
The campground is very natural and lovely, the shower house/bathroom is cleanish, but the management is in need of a overhaul.

Don’t even think about it if you have an RV. A tree and the concrete table are in the middle and it has uphill slope. We only have a minivan. There was a nice spot for our small tent but getting into the site was a hassle. There are lots of sites that would hold small RVs.

Well I can't speak for others' experiences but my wife and I really enjoyed staying here. It's a little confusing so let me explain some of the logistical details as best I can. For starters, yes, the website is a little clunky. You really do have to set the in/out time to 12:00PM and 11:59AM (like it says in big letters on the reservation interface) then pick the site you want on a day-by-day setup (each day is added to your cart separately). Then you pay for it online and you'll be good to go.
That said, it's a little ambiguous (both on the website and by the other reviews here on Campendium) as to whether or not RV's are allowed and/or can fit in the sites marked for Tents. To my knowledge, yes, I believe they allow RVs in the tent sites. I don't think they have any rules against that or anything, BUT the tent loop and many of the sites are quite small. There's plenty of overhanging trees and brush and the loop is pretty tight. We have a 30' motorhome that's 12'0 and I wouldn't do it. Frankly you could probably get away with a MH or trailer that's maybe 20-25' in length but the height will get you. I really wouldn't recommend attempting that loop with anything taller than 7, 8, MAYBE 9 feet. Do a pre-loop-check and see with your toad/pull vehicle.
If you're able to snag one of the actual RV sites then fear not — they're plenty big with tons of room to move campers of all size around. Each has water and electric. The central dump station is a little bit of a tight squeeze but nothing you can't back out of it you don't want to pull all the way through.
Anyway, aside from that the campground itself is really nice! It's very quiet at night, it's well maintained, the ranger and staff are very kind and welcoming, and it's less than a 5 minute drive to anything you'd need (Publix, Walmart Super, Home Depot, etc.). We've really enjoyed this place. Would definitely come back.
2 bars AT&T without; strong connection with a standard booster.

Stay away!! I will not stay here again. Many workers in the camping area, most are loud. Five workers were in our campsite at 8AM working, sitting at picnic table, using a power saw, joking and talking loudly. Two guys did all the work, the other 3 sat around and joked. It took them 1/2 hour, why can't they wait until a later hour? Or better yet in the 3 hours between guests. After they were done at our site, they were using a chain saw at the next site all before 9AM. Workers have no consideration for guests. A volunteer was talking to a guest at 7AM right in front of out site, no problem, but she was loud. I heard her life story inside our RV. Lots of workers and volunteers but they run a propane powered golf cart up and down the road starting at 7 AM.
Sites are OK, we were in an electric/water site. Dump station is tight with overhanging trees. Campground is close to town, 4 miles to Walmart and Publix.
There is a gate that remains open all night that says registered campers only, but you can't see the sign as the gate is open. Doesn't give me a good feeling.
AT&T cell service was marginal, 1-2 bars of 5G.
