One long trail (devil's campground) easily accessed walking from campground and one short trail easily accessed at other end.
Camp hosts absolutely superb in April.
Campground is at the absolute end of the park. If you're thinking of driving out and back take that into account-- a good 30 minutes each way. No issues arriving after dark.
No T-Mobile service. Verizon service okay with external antenna. Not good enough for video.

If you can get a reservation, don't hesitate! We spent 1 night in September 2021 and it was spectacular! We had back-in site 8 and our dry campsite had a picnic table and fire ring with views of the red rocks all around. Since the park fills up early, get there before 9 am or you may have to wait quite a few hours to go to your reserved campsite. Devils Garden Campground is at the end of the road inside Arches, so there is plenty to see and do once you get in the main entrance. A million stars at night and in the morning, we hiked up the hill for the sunrise - spectacular! Our neighbor did run his generator before 7 am and the camp hosts were right there to remind him of the quiet hours. Clean, well-maintained campsites.

One of the prettiest parks we have stayed in to date. However, be aware when booking your site not to book a pull off site. I did that in error and ended up in a site right on the road. The pull offs are really meant for tent campers, not rvs. The fabulous camp hosts that were on duty saved us from several days of misery by putting us into the back in overflow site. Amazing views all around you and easy access to multiple trails. Bathrooms were kept clean and there was a dish washing station outside the bathroom It was pretty hot when we were there so we did our hiking early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid the afternoon heat. Be aware that the park often closes for several hours during the day when it becomes too full. So even if you have a camping reservation you will not be able to get in. We ended up spending some time in downtown Moab before being able to get into the park later in the afternoon.

Initially, I was not that impressed with what this campground offered "on paper" -- but upon arrival, it is mind-blowingly spectacular. Definitely on my list of top Nat'l Park campgrounds ever. Sure, some of the sites are a little small (the pull-thru pads can be pretty tight if you have a large RV), but bring the appropriate leveling blocks and such and it's fine. Do beware that sometimes the wind can pick up in the area and that can present some challenges for things like canopies and awnings, especially at night.
Highly recommended to get a site in the lower loop area so you have full access to the rock gardens adjacent to the campground. Bonus, if you climb to the top of some of the fins back there, you'll have cellular data access. Otherwise, the Amphitheater area is the sweet spot for minimal cell service.
You do need to plan accordingly for a campground that has no showers and no easy support amenities for RVs and such, but if you are used to a tent-camping type mindset, it is perfectly manageable. We managed to go all 5 days without needing to roll out to town and dump our small 30gal black/grey tank with 2x adults. Keep in mind the Visitor Center is ~45 minutes away and Moab services are ~1 hour away. They have since implemented a cell-phone method to pay for firewood within the camp itself, but you do need to have cellular data access to take advantage of it... otherwise you will be forced to do the coupon shuttle down at the Visitor Center to pay for firewood (or go into Moab to bring it in yourself). The camp host that we interacted with (in the main house at the entrance) was very helpful and made their rounds every day like clockwork. There is a secondary host in the lower area that is also around if/when needed.
The lower campground loop is on the route for a couple of really really awesome short hikes to Tapestry, Broken, and Sand Dune Arches... the latter is highly recommended because it's simply such a unique setting between huge fins on a sandy dune. The hike from the campground on the trail to the south towards Sand Dune Arch is simply spectacular as it climbs up/down between a series of fins with beautiful views out to the nearby La Sal Mountains -- well worth it even if you skip the other leg, imho. Do not skip this easy and accessible hike if you are staying in camp! Time well-spent. Don't forget to enjoy the view on the way up along that route to look back at Devils Garden Campground itself to truly appreciate what a spectacular location it is. Bonus if you do it in the late afternoon to get the good light.
Not having to deal with the zoo that is the parking area for the Devils Garden trailhead area is a bonus too.... just walk from camp up into the area and enjoy.
If you can manage the cluster that is Recreation.gov to score a reservation, do it and don't look back! Well worth it.

In 15, but the host said he’d just given it away but he had 43 available. So we took it, even though there is ZERO AT&T or Verizon signal. Host (very nice) suggested we could park at the amphitheater to do some work because there is normally a signal there, he was right! I got 4 hours worth of work done the next morning. This location is so great for hiking ! And the views are incredible. We will be back !!

We camped here for 2 nights in November 2020. It cost us only $12.50 per night because we are "Seniors." There are no services, but the location is fabulous for visiting the park. The camp ground is 18 miles from the main highway, however. There are public bathrooms, and potable water is available from hydrants. Generator operation is limited to certain hours of the day (8-10 am and 4-8 pm when we were there), so be advised if you need juice. Also, most of the camping areas are small. Big rigs will have a tough time finding a spot. Demand for this camp ground is very high, so make reservations if you can. If it is not possible to make a reservation, then I would suggest arriving at the camp ground around 9 am so that you have first dibs of sites as other campers are departing. I would highly recommend this camp ground if you enjoy hiking and the beauty of Arches NP.
