We came in from the east and the road was gravel and a few spots were narrow. When we left we took the road heading south. This road was much better. Less gravel and no narrow spots. The area was open and flat. There is a nice path to access the lake.

It’s been 2 years since I was last here and trimmed all the trees in camp and the main road leading in. What a difference it made.
Surprisingly some of the branch pile is still here.
Perhaps next time I’ll mow the grass and make it into a lawn.

“Update. Trees are now trimmed. ”

So today I trimmed back all the trees from the highway to camp. 2 miles of roadway. You are welcome. All the big branches are clear above the 14’ clearance. There are a couple little twigs that can hit the sides. But I removed everything on the way out. Limbs up to 4 inches are all down now. It took about 2 hours but it’s worth it.... more

Now the star rating is at a 4 for boondocking.
Phone for VZW is in and out.
Cell booster works great in the camp.

Once at the camp area the low hanging branches are still a problem. I did clear up a bunch of over hanging to improve the drive through but more work is needed. So bring a saw and make this a great place.
