This is a review of scouting the area. Drove thru on a Thursday morning in the first week of November. Numerous sites to choose from, some pull thru, some back in. Water, tables, and fire pits at every site. Although the sites are close together there is plenty of space to spread out depending on how busy it is. Heavily shaded. Not sure how effective solar charging would be during summer months. We first scouted it on a Thursday, nobody was there. Pulled thru again a few days later and there were a number of hunters there. Plenty of space for big rigs. Pit toilets on sites, no trash. Would have stayed here, but opted for West Lake Crockett down the road due to stronger cell signal.

This place is made for the horse camping experience.
There’s plenty of water available along with pit toilets and pull through spots. Some low hanging branches that need to be trimmed. Fire rings, hitching posts and large group area.
