“Drab, dusty, sloped, rutted OHV staging lot”

Coming from Caliente involved a long, 1700 ft climb up the highway to a sign for the Silver State Trailhead; there was no mention of a campground. Access was then half a mile down an excellent dirt road. The site was effectively a gravel OHV staging area with a few picnic ramadas and pit toilets. Although very large, it was mostly sloped, uneven and rutted. There were few places that were suitable to park an RV; I found one at the back fence by the notice board.
The area was very dusty (a very fine dust) and I imagine it would be uninhabitable with OHVs racing around. It was drab and rather depressing, so after staying 2 nights in order to visit the depot at Caliente, I headed out.
Verizon varied from 0 to 1 bar. There was occasional 4G with 2.2 Mbps down and 0.14 up, but mostly it was very slow 3G, 1x or no data. There was good Verizon voice the first day, but it was unusable the second day.

“Great dry camping and nice ATV trails.”

This is a dry camping site with easy access to the Silver State OHV trails. Far enough off of the main road so that road noise is faint, but still close enough for easy access.
The GPS coordinates for the turn-off from Route 93 are 37.601441, -114.654631. There is a sign on 93, but slow down as soon as you see the sign because the entrance road is easy to miss. You will need to travel about .4 miles on the dirt road then turn left into the campground. The entry road is smooth and in good condition.
There are multiple places to set up camp, (most are pull-thru), and enough space to accommodate any size rig. We had a 40' fifth wheel and had no problem with several options for where we could fit.
There are trash cans, pit toilets, plus a few covered picnic tables and fire rings. It’s at 6100’ elevation, so the temperatures are a bit cooler especially overnight.
Decent AT&T voice and 4G coverage without the use of a booster.
We stayed on July 1st and were the only people there. We didn't even see other ATVs or OHVs other than a few Jeeps that were passing through.
John LV would stay here again
