There is little shade.
But the spaces are spread out
Also decent WiFi
Most people are respectful but TWICE someone thought it was perfectly fine to set up camp AT MY SPOT (without asking) … and I was present.
I left. I did not come out to mature to have someone 10 ft away from me.
Completely disrespectful. People need to do better.

It is not currently marked on Campendium but I've added a screenshot of the map and a photo of a typical campsite.
I went to check it out today and saw about five designated campsites before the road started seeming a little bit too sandy for me, although the road was otherwise well maintained. I would say the campsites could accommodate small to medium size RVs.
To get to it, instead of continuing straight west on Casa Diablo Mine road where the pavement ends (which would take you another mile to Volcanic Tablelands dispersed camping), you take a right on Fish Slough road to head north and go about a mile before you see the BLM welcome sign.

Of the several camping spots along Casa Diablo Road, "Cliff Side" is the largest. There's room for several large rigs and it's fairly level. The cliff blocks some of the wind, but it also means solar panels lose light sooner. I camped there during a weekend in April. The road gets some light traffic, but it wasn't bothersome. The closest neighbor was a few hundred yards away. I collected some litter while there.
