“Pleasantly quiet and green, great stop in Bishop for Elks Member”

I was pleasantly surprised by this rather bucolic location as Elks RV sites are usually just a parking lot. This is actually in a park with Bishop Creek running along the side of a large lawn area where they have set aside seven RV sites at the edge of the property. It looks like there is also a large area beyond the lawn where one could dry camp and/or use a tent. Trees surround the park to provide privacy from the adjacent properties. The gate and 15/30/50 power hookups are locked, but you are provided the combinations when you reserve a site. The location is near the western edge of town on the road that goes to Lake Sabrina, North and South Lakes. There is easy access back to US395 to drive up to the great hiking in the Mammoth Lakes and the Rock Creek drainage, such as, Little Lakes Valley. The site is about five minutes from the restaurants on Main Street.
