Quiet remote campground about a mile off pavement. Sites level. Plenty of sun for solar. Water and 30 amp available April through October.

Washboard road into the camp. Several long pull-through sites and some back in sites. Water and electric still on for us but per signage not for many more days. Utilities turned off at end of October. We were only ones in CG on Monday night. Sites are close together. The area is level. There is a dump station at entrance to park... more
Washboard road into the camp. Several long pull-through sites and some back in sites. Water and electric still on for us but per signage not for many more days. Utilities turned off at end of October. We were only ones in CG on Monday night. Sites are close together. The area is level. There is a dump station at entrance to park, looks to be somewhat new. Fee is honor system $20. Park does get some traffic with dog walkers and joggers on the nice walking path in the area.

The entire campground was asleep when woken up at 10:30pm by uniformed officers demanding we exit our vehicles and provide ID. They did not identify themselves while they pounded on my Airstream door making their demand. They went to every camp in the same way. The entire campground was asleep when woken up at 10:30pm by uniformed officers demanding we exit our vehicles and provide ID. They did not identify themselves while they pounded on my Airstream door making their demand. They went to every camp in the same way. Our neighbor a senior age single woman was left terrified and unable to sleep. The officers claimed the signs that say this camp site is patrolled means “this” is what happens and we will be back tomorrow night again. It crossed my mind to call 911 and report them? There was one marked Sheriff vehicle and one unmarked pickup truck. My daughter says this is one way potential kidnap victims are targeted by human trafficking rings. I would never stay here again and if you do be prepared!
Note: unfortunate because as all other reviews have said this is a gorgeous campground.

Overall Rating
Very nice campground with about 20 spots with water and 30 amp service. Dump station at the park entrance. Well manicured and maintained. Play areas for the kids were great.

Quiet. Electric, water, picnic table, fire ring and trash can for each site. Paved walking trail and playground. Also, a building you can rent for gatherings.

So very peaceful!!! I wanted to move in!!! There are restrooms no showers. Water and 30amp electric. Sewer dump available. A few back ins and pull thrus. Nice size grassy 'yard' There is roughly a mile bike/hike path in cement like a sidewalk. Just west of Larned on Highway 156. Watch for signs.Great place to spend a weekend!! Stayed in a 35 foot Class A.

Gravel road was in extremely poor shape when I drove out here. 14 RV spots, payment is on your Honor System, maximum 5 day stay, check in and out Noon, water and electric sites are available, dump site at entrance/exit. People apparently don't like to clean up after their dogs, dog bombs everywhere!
