There are just a dozen or so full hookup spots in this older county park. Free and lightning fast wifi and a little laundromat and the host was one of the friendliest we've ever met. The park entrance is lined by very old trees, and this park would not be a good choice for big rigs. Pros: - Free, super fast wifi - Laundry - Loca... more

Pros:
- Free, super fast wifi
- Laundry
- Location - you're 2 miles from cute and scenic downtown Ojai, as well as miles of hiking and biking trails (though none are accessible right from the park). There's a bike trail that goes all the way to Ventura (about 15 miles away), and a really beautiful and well marked trail system that starts at the end of Shelf Rd.
Cons:
- Dogs are allowed in the campground, which is very small, but not in the neighboring park area. (There are plenty of hikes very nearby though)
- Most sites are pretty short, and ours had a major front to back slope - we had to use 6 blocks in the front to level it.
- Most sites don't have much of a view, and there's a fairly busy road close to the park.
Busy Campers would stay here again

Pulled up to the site at 8:30 and the park was closed. We’re not able to get a campsite. Locals said that all camps were closed due to wildfires.
