The web site still states that restrooms and showers remain closed. Is this indeed the case?

Came in off the highway and followed the street signs. Nothing indicated it was closed until I arrived late at night. Check their website for updates before going.

I'm not a big fan of formal campgrounds and this one is okay for a quick stop over. Found it to be clean. Bathrooms and showers are nice and clean. Very crowded if there is an event at fairgrounds. There is a dump station and potable water. Price includes water, sewer and electricity. Stayed here 2-3 nights in summer of 2019.

Stayed here around Thanksgiving to visit family. Camped in the mountains at 9000ft until it got too cold and a big snow storm came through, so moved to this campground for electric heat and paved roads. Cheapest campground in the denver area at $20 night with electric. Its the off-season so bathrooms/showers were closed, no attendant or host (pay at the automated machine). Only 3 stars as they did not plow the road in nor the campground at all after 18” snowstorm, they also closed the dump station and only water for 4 days around the holiday (why i dont know, as there is no attendant anyway). Campground was empty when i was there, but the sites are so close together i could imagine my front door hitting the neighbors slideout in the peak season.
The humane society is at the beginning of the road, so constant dog walking going by, but not disturbing. Close to shopping and supplies, campground is in a urban/suburban area, but not noisy. 45 min from downtown denver and boulder. Being in the fairgrounds, i would expect the campground to be very busy in season. 14 day limit per year here.

Arrived in Labor Day, which meant we didn’t get restroom/shower entry code until next day. Very quiet.

We've been camping here since our first forays with our little 19-foot Airstream (pre-family). There always seems to be space and it's nice to have a 'no reservations' option in the area. We find the price to fair for what you get (power, water, dump station, showers). There are often events going on at the Boulder County Fairgrounds over the weekend and the Saturday farmer's market is epic. Longmont is a great little town with awesome trail system (which runs right behind the campground).

Tight & crowded. Jaded and surly attendant. Close to Left Hand Brewery and 1 hour from Denver airport.
This was a last resort. My wife had a flight to catch out of Denver. We had reservations at Jeffco Fairgrounds in the city but were turned away because we didn’t have our TX vehicle registration receipt. Anyway, everything else within 60 miles was booked except maybe 2 sites at this park. Stayed June 2018.
Upon arrival, we spoke with an attendant who said to look for an open spot on the registration kiosk computer, then park, then come up and register. Unfortunately, this is not a very good system because there were several ‘open’ spots in the computer that were very occupied. So, we quickly decided to go in reverse and look for an open spot first. Unfortunately, someone can pay for a spot in advance through the kiosk, so some of the unoccupied sites were actually reserved.
After getting lucky and finding an open site that wasn’t reserved, we paid and wedged our 35’ fifth wheel inches from our neighbors on either side. It was very close. Our neighbor’s door almost hit our slide wall when it was opened all the way.
The campground has electric and water at most sites, and an on-site dump station. There is also a coded bathroom, but we weren’t given the code and we didn’t ask. There are some homeless people around, but no one bothered us.
The fairgrounds are obviously close, so you’ll hear the announcer if something is going on…at 7:00am for sound check.
There is a lot of space to walk the dog(s) on sidewalks and large grassy areas throughout the grounds.
Longmont is home to one of my favorite breweries- Left Hand Brewing, so if you’re into good beer, I highly recommend a visit. The Nitro Milk Stout is quite a treat.

The sites are gravel, level, clean. The water was turned off. The shower house is locked due to so many homeless trashing the place.
Central dump is unlocked around 8am.
It’s all about location. The place is quiet.

I didn't even go into the restroom to check them out I just couldn't. I drove 120 miles back home just to be back home instead of camping there it's really sad. It has nice trees there. There's like three sites that I could see that has an actual pad to it where you could sit on it and have friends over other than that you're packed in there like pack rats and it's really really sad.

We wanted to camp somewhere within a reasonable distance of a couple of our favorite breweries and the fairground was reasonably priced, and with plenty of sites so we had no problem getting a site on a Friday in late June. No, it isn't very scenic, and it's quite dusty when cars go past or the wind blows hard, which it did one day we were there, but it served our purpose.
We were not given the code for the bathrooms, and didn't go back to the office to ask for it, so can't comment on them, since we knew we were planning to dump when we left and just used our own facilities.
The location was great, as the St. Vrain paved bike trail was easy to access and it was just a short walk to the Saturday farmer's market. Also, Oskar Blues and Left Hand Breweries are just a couple miles away, and Boulder is a quick 12 miles south.
