Friendly staff, I was going to stay for 1 week, but went back to add the whole 14 days. A park ranger and the guy at the front booth suggested I get a yearly park pass which saved me $312 on the 2 week stay. Then I reserved an additional week at the end of April for the river run at only $75. And that pass is good for all nevada state ... more

Then I reserved an additional week at the end of April for the river run at only $75. And that pass is good for all nevada state parks. Like, Tahoe

2 sites are paved and excellent for folks in wheelchairs. The gravel sites are hard packed and would work but pavement is nicer.

Very nice design. As few campers were there when we camped Sept 9th, we were able to pick a site with the best sun orientation for us. Two negatives: 1. sewer drops were way too high. We used the dump station instead. They close the beach way too early.

Outstanding level sites, each with a covered pavilion. Friendly staff, 0.3 miles walk to the beach on the Colorado. Extra campsites are currently being built with utilities and as anon-Nevada resident, one night is $35

Very spacious sites' full hook up's at every site with a fire pit, grill, and picnic table with full shade! We will definitely go again as it's a short distance from home and a great place to get away!!

Arrived mid-week in late April and had a choice of 5 campsites. Well kept facility, park rangers would periodically drive through and felt really safe. Definitely on my list to camp here again.

Our entire experience here has been very positive. The beaches part of the park were clean and deserted in midweek. All sites are level and full hookups.

Very large sites, very cheap if you purchase annual pass for $250 for Nevada, with pass $10 full hookup or $35. Have overflow boondocking spots. Excellent beach too. Staff is great.

Each individual campsite is huge. Lots of room for larger RVs. Each site has a fire ring and a nice table with shelter. AT&T cell service was OK, certainly good enough to browse website and send emails. Don't know what the one review is referring to when they says lots of dog poop, we didn't see any . But there is lots of Coyote poop, think they don't know the difference. Well maintained campground, big sites, road noise, great beach area is quite this time of year. Area was burned a few years ago and still looks like it, campground still has some trees. Look at buying the Nevada state park all access pass, could save you money
