Arrived to nice signs saying “Welcome” and to check-in at the convenience store. Convenience store is Closed - borded up like doing renovations ? I parked and set-up anyway and went to the front desk to check-in. “No Problem” - yes, the store is closed as is the Dump Station but you are welcome to just park Free in the lot so long as your playing at Harrahs !! No hotel amenities just Free parking lot parking. You’ll want to drive down the hill to the casino - no walking path - but it’s Cold out so who would want to walk Anyway ?! 😊 Only one other person in lot with me which I liked - not the crowds found at the other parking lots !! Enjoyed the stay - will spend one night at an RV park then it’s Back to the Desert for all that free boondocking!!!!
SailorGolf would stay here again

We’ve had fantastic experiences staying at Harrah’s in Valley Center, CA, so we tried their Laughlin location. Even though we had a hotel room, and even though there were two huge lots and a parking garage at the casino, they make you park in the RV lot, which is up a huge hill and across the street. Easily a 15 minute exhausting walk. They said the lot was patrolled, but we never saw any security or even security cameras. The lot was large, and there were a couple lights and a trash can. There is no water or dump station access, the gas station next door is out of business, and Harrah’s no longer offers hotel amenities (pool, fitness, etc) without booking a room. There was only one other RV in the lot while we were there. If you’re staying in Laughlin to visit the various casinos, Harrah’s is kind of a long way from the other hotels, so the only access is by water taxi ($10 per person per ride) or a 30-45 minute walk.
For us this lot was a dud. It was quiet and safe from what we could tell, but the environment was not pleasant. We planned to stay a few extra nights after our room reservation was over, but we ended up moving to the Riverside lot, which was way more centrally located. Even though more people were camped there, we had a much more enjoyable time using it as a home base.

We've been coming here off and on for winter spot nearly 8 years now. Site used to give access to pools, spa, fitness room, hottub, free shuttle, RV dump, water. Many here are long term snowbirds that get together for food, convo, and fun.
They're closed this 2020 winter. That might change so keep checking the Laughlin Harrah's site.

This is a medium sized parking lot next to a convenience store. Very noisy early in the morning with deliveries and buses starting around 5am. Harrah's (small) casino is the only thing within walking distance. Paid for two nights, but left after only one.
