Great open lot under highway bridges, stayed 1 night in our 35ft 5er & f350 dually. Walking distance to downtown Memphis fun! Lots of road noise & train blows horn, bring earplugs/white noise, etc didn't bother us. Would stay here again. Easy in & out, FREE!

Security patrolling all night so you feel very safe. A bit noisey but that’s normal for these free parking lot spots.
Make sure you go inside - it’s a sight to behold! Give yourself at LEAST 30mins inside

Stayed in my 22ft travel trailer under the overpass (recommended as security patrols that area and are very kind) and was able to catch a few hours of sleep before heading east. Loud tour buses and motor heads kept me up a few times throughout the night. There are restaurants inside the pyramid and snacks to grab if you need a bite to eat.

There’s not a ton of space especially if you have a 30’ TT bad truck but we made it work. A few other overnighters there. Highway noise wasn’t an issue for us. Slept great all night.

We have stayed here last fall. And decided that it would be a great stop on our next adventure. Now there’s a few things to consider when you are staying at a free lot docking location. First. Second. Usually they are right near a major interstate. So it makes it a great stop while traveling through.
Lastly we always make it a point to buy something to support the business that was gracious enough to let us stay on their property.
My kids love staying here and it has to do with the pyramid. It’s a great way to unwind after a long day of traveling.

There were also some sketchy characters loitering around. Lastly, about 100 yards from where we’re were parked, we saw a staging area for what looked to be a police raid. 9 police cars and officers in full gear.
We decided to go down the road to
The casino and park there for free. Had a great night there and were happy with our choice.

Right next to a river park and a short walk to downtown attractions. This is right under the bridge on 40 that failed, so there was no traffic because they are currently fixing it. NOISY! LOUD! Trucks constantly driving over the bridges, does not let up all night! No security after 10 PM, you are on your own. 3 AM party began behind our RV!! Cars pulled up behind our RV when the rest of the lot was empty. They got out talking loudly or arguing couldn’t quite tell.

I start by saying I was alone, and prob would have felt different if not. I pulled up and parked around 730, and saw security making frequent laps. They stopped around 10 and things got weird after that. People pulling up in the lot partying, a couple parked right behind me in the huge empty lot and got out and started arguing. I moved my van and around 11pm two guys pulled up right next to me with music blaring and got out and started riding scooters around the empty lot. I ended up leaving and after talking to a local was informed this place has a bad wrap at night. Take w a grain of salt, and good luck!
