Camped here end of June. Nice swimming area, playground. Park workers clean each site as they empty for the next campers coming in. Have never seen this anywhere else.
30/50 amp and water at site. Bathrooms very clean.

This campground is next to Percy Priest Lake and is one of the first Army Corps of Engineer campgrounds. Most of the sites are well shaded with thick trees for plenty of privacy. But being an older campground, the sites do show their age.
There are partial hookups, bathrooms and showers on site. Being next to the lake, it's very family friendly with swim beaches, a playground and picnic tables. All the CoE campgrounds have a curfew. If you're into water activities, this is a great place to visit!

We had to switch to site 18 after two days and it was a bit of a let down since it was not on the water. The bathrooms and showers were just OK, but acceptable. The laundry machines did not have their own dedicated room, but instead just sat out side in a covered area.
We used this as a base to visit Nashville and it's a short 30 min drive to much of the city.

We enjoyed our brief overnight stay. We reserved one of the few pull-through sites. Most sites were asphalt-paved but somewhat unlevel (out stabilizers lifted our front tires off the ground when levelling our rig). Site 57 featured a round concrete picnic table and raked gravel, but the hookups were oddly placed on the right side when pulling in from the one-way loop. We noticed paths through the woods shortcutting the distance to the bath house. The bath house could have been very nice except for past users who etched graffiti into the stalls. Nonetheless, the bath house was clean with a washer-dryer in an open bay in the rear. There’s a sandy roped-off beach along the loop. Overall, a nice friendly place.

Very nice campground, well maintained. Showers, bathrooms clean. Spacious sites, with gravel. Park workers rake all the sites when leaving.
Lake is beautiful, nice beach area for swimming with playground. No hiking but great for kayaking or boating.
Water and electricity at site.

Sites are spaced well with lots of trees so you have some privacy. We had a lakeside site where we shared a driveway with the camper next to us, took some backing skills because the driveway is narrow and long but got 'er done the 1st try. There are several "Y" sites where driveways are shared and a little less privacy in those sites, but we didn't mind, all our neighbors were friendly and respectful of our privacy.
Well planned sites, most are back in, some are long, but all have level pads and large level areas with picnic table, fire ring and lantern pole.
Bathrooms & showers were older but clean.
We were hoping to do laundry there since the website says there are laundry facilities but there is only 1 washer and 1 dryer outside the bath house and the washer lid had been left open and it was full of bugs ... yuk. Expected better. The website is a bit misleading.
Watch the squirrels, they are beggars and are everywhere looking for handouts. :-) Even had a mallard duck couple looking for a free lunch. LOL!
Enjoyed our stay while visiting Nashville! Super affordable, clean, quiet and friendly.

The views of the lake was fantastic. Each site had enough distance or trees to maintain some privacy.
Our site was OK for us at 26', but would have been a problem backing in and leveling anything much longer as there is a dip entering the site b4 leveling off, and challenging finding spot to use slide (tree) while being able to position steps without exiting into a ditch.
Our dog is spoiled (totally suburban) and had issues finding enough short grass to do her business, but we are all new to camping.
The host I spoke with was super nice, and I will definitely come back for a longer visit next time!

We absolutely loved our stay at this campground. Our particular campsite (#1) was enormous, heavily treed, and entirely private, but all of them are spacious with dense foliage giving guests a sense of privacy. There are also a number of campsites that back up right to the water, though there was wide variation between these sites - some offering more space than others. It is worth it to study the available sites on the Reserve America map and choose one that truly suits your needs (though, there really are no "bad" sites). The campground is ideally located just outside Nashville and offers a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring that wonderful city. All in all, we adored this campground and will absolutely stay there again.

Some of the private campgrounds nearby quoted us well over $100/night for our family of 6, so we were very happy to find spacious W/E sites for $22 at Seven Points. This was our first COE campground, and we were very impressed. Our site was a little tricky to get into with our big trailer because of the trees and some inconveniently placed posts, but once we were in it was lovely. Big, private, wooded, with lots of trees for hanging hammocks. We were there Memorial Day weekend, and it was full, but never felt too crazy. The lakefront sites are lovely; we were just across the road from them and walked down to look at the lake; when we go back we'll try to grab a waterfront site. Very convenient to Nashville; we were just there one night and went to the Hermitage, which was less than 15 minutes away. This will definitely be our pick again next time we're in the area.
