Nice shade and wide back in for big rigs. Very easy to drive and park big rigs.
Very safe for kids to bike and run around.
No Wifi, I wish they can plan for wifi and that's the only reason I gave 4 star

Our GPS (Garmin RV) took us on narrow roads and under several low-hanging limbs to get to the park, with several twists and turns.
The hosts are the best of the best. The shower was clean and had a powerful water flow.

Very nice/large site but only peekaboo view of the lake. We were traveling thru for one night. We'd stayed at Cedar Creek (another army corp campground nearby) the week before and liked it. It's a good 20minutes off I-40. Google navigator had a little trouble getting us there. We got within 1/4 mile and then were sent into some crazy directions. If we'd watched the map on Google and not just the voice commands we would have saved some headaches.

We’ve stayed here many times. Large clean sites. Clean bathroom. Lakeside sites are probably the best. Sites get reserved quickly by locals so it’s hard to reserve for more than a day or 2.

We had no problem with T-Mobile (no booster) on the lakeside of the campground. Everything about this campground was great. They even had a coin-operated washer & drier. You can't beat Army Core of Engineers campgrounds for great campgrounds and price. Our only negative thing to say was that we were hassled a bit because we tried to check in an hour and a half early. After being read the rules about the proper check-in time, the host let us in. That is the first time that has ever happen to us.

We were first attracted to this campground due to the great nightly rate and location close to Nashville.
However, upon arrival we found there were many other reasons to love this campground.
If you can get a site that is lakeside, do it! There are also sites across the road from the lakeside sites that are just as awesome. The sun sets over the lake and it's just beautiful.
We did not have a site on the lake (they were sold out) but our site was still beautiful.
There is a really nice swim beach area and convenient boat dock within the campground.
The sites are really long and all are extremely wooded and private. I notice a few where you would want to be aware of trees on the sides of the sites that may impact where your slides extend. However, every camper we saw was able to fit due to the length of the sites.
There is electric and water on site and a dump site for sewer.
The picnic table, campfire area at each site is the biggest and nicest I've seen.
The sites are all paved.
The restrooms and showers were very clean.
The camp hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.
Our Verizon signal was not great at our site, but using our Mifi and antennae worked great.
We would definitely stay here again especially if we could get a lakeside site!

Nice little campground only 25 minutes from Nashville right on the lake. Didn’t have a spot on the water but the spaces are nice and roomy and all have picnic tables and fire pits. Bathrooms were well maintained and Verizon signal was good!

In walking around campground many sites could pose problems getting into. If you have a class A do not book site 46 as it has 6x6 timbers that have to be parked between and it’s narrow. Did not use shower or restrooms but they looked older but were relatively clean looking.
