Came for the solar eclipse and worked out perfect. As said they have covered areas and a couple dozen pull throughout in more open sites still well spaced. Clean laundry and showers are hot and good pressure. Really nice clubhouse to destress in. The staff was great and look forward to seeing them again

Not sure why this park is less than half full, but no complaints from us! Sites are level and well laid out. Looks like they are still working on clearing damage from the ice storm a couple months ago. About half the park is located in a lovely sycamore grove and the rest is mostly open. The spot we’d reserved was in the trees but we needed a clear view to the north for our Starlink, and they accommodated us with no issue. The laundry and bath room building are clean and well maintained. There is some road noise, but it’s not overwhelming. There is also a chicken coop at one end of the park and the roosters do start early with their crowing, but if you use earplugs, it’s not an issue. There are trails and fire pits available in the park, and the sites have adjacent concrete pads. No picnic tables at sites, but that’s really not a concern for us. The entrance is controlled by a gate with a code for an extra measure of privacy and security. We’ll definitely be back when we are in the area again.

Great home base to visit nearby Pedernales Falls State Park, Johnson City and Dripping Springs. All the other parks stay full, but this one hasn’t been discovered yet. Clean facilities, large sites, helpful staff. Enjoyed AC in the comfortable rec room with games, jigsaw puzzles and books. Private shower rooms, laundry facility. The creek was bone dry during 2022 drought, but still offered a pleasant little valley view. Will return.
