We stayed here a week so our son could play a golf tournament. The spots are pretty much level and all gravel. We stayed in the blue section and so did everyone else. I assume the red and yellow sections are closed until the state fair because there were no campers down there. There are a couple concrete spots near bath house for ADA customers. The sights seem to be for two rigs but we have a 42’ foot fifth wheel so no way two of us are fitting in one spot. We just tried to pick a level spot not next to someone else. There are several “long term” rigs that look a little rough, but many empty spots. Women’s bathhouse requires a code and men’s bathhouse was disgusting. Very dirty and smells horrible. So we just hooked up to water and 50 amp power and used our rig shower. You can reserve online but it seems that only a couple spots are open online when there are actual many empty sights when you get to the park. You can’t book the weekly rate online so when we called they said to just show up and pick a sight and let them know what sight you picked. It is all very confusing and not managed very well. We were there a week before state fair so there seemed to be an increase in activity, but still very quiet. The Wyoming State Fairgrounds are large so we walked and rode our e-bikes around daily. Overall, this is a good and affordable rv park to stay in if you need an overnight or to be in Douglas. The golf course in Douglas is very nice and there are a few neat museums also.

If you don’t register online, you register in the Office, which is a red/brown brick building. FHU w a bathhouse! Not much shade but spots in the Blue Zone were level. Lots of pull throughs! Very close to shopping.

We camped in the “blue” campground and had a very level gravel site with full hook-ups that were on a very nice concrete island. We have about 10 campers in this lot. The Wyoming State Fairgrounds are very nice and the town of Douglas is as well. The Wyoming Pioneer Museum is on the grounds and is extremely interesting, less than a 5minute walk over to the Douglas Railroad Interpretive Museum ( another little gem)

We planned on dry camping, but high temps made us look for full hookup. Great rate. Just a dirt lot with hookups. We booked online. When we arrived had to find our own spot, no hosts. Great areas for walking dog, lots of grass around.

We stayed here in March of 2023. Ended up staying an additional night because of high winds and snow on hwy 25. They have full hook up all year long with heat type on the water. There were a half dozen full time workers living there. The Fair grounds where a nice place to walk the dogs, or just walk around they had nice paths and it was clean. Did see a couple of locals just let their dogs run and poop and not clean up after them. So hopefully they don't blame the RVer's. During Fair season i think this place would be full, but other than that time think mostly empty. It is on a side street and relativity quite, there was a train and some semi's that went by but not a busy street. The main negative was the bathrooms they where filthy. I don't know if that was because it was winter and most people have their own that where staying there. But, if you need a bathroom would look elsewhere. It's a quite and nice place to stay for a couple of days.

Stayed on our way up I-25 towards Montana. The fairgrounds are used for horse shows, state fair, etc. They have a very large RV area with full hookups. We had our pick of spots. Off the main road, quiet. New online reservation system made it easy to book.
