I stayed here for two nights. I live just down the road but wanted a little weekend getaway and this was a great option. Sites 13A, 13B, & 13C are right along the Jordan River. I stayed here for two nights. I live just down the road but wanted a little weekend getaway and this was a great option. Sites 13A, 13B, & 13C are right along the Jordan River. Large sites which can accommodate basically any rig size in my opinion. Dog park was awesome (I go there every other day anyway) but to be able to just walk to it was great. Camp host was great and didn’t mind my dog in my camp area off leash. Generators are allowed, not sure what the quiet hours are though. These are dry camping sites with no Hookups. They have a picnic table and a fire pit. Camp host offered firewood for sale and if you needed to, you can fill up some water for your RV. Apparently there is an RV dump that’s not working, although I wasn’t able to locate where that was. Will be back!

No hookups but cleanest bathrooms I have every seen at a campsite. There is a Jordan River launch area for paddleboarding/kayaking. Not many campers. Mostly tent campers but we brought our generator to dry camp. Inexpensive as well, just $25. Lots of room to walk and bike ride and the Jordan River Trail goes right through the park as well. A few nice playgrounds for the kids. Watch out for goats head thorns in the grass and weeds.

Campsite host was very helpful. They were replanting a lot of the grass so there were multiple large areas that were all just dirt. Our campsite had a few big trees, which was nice. Campsite host was very helpful. They were replanting a lot of the grass so there were multiple large areas that were all just dirt. Our campsite had a few big trees, which was nice. The campground is nestled back in behind a residential neighborhood on one side and a somewhat busy road on the other side so we could hear vehicles now and then. I wouldn’t stay here for a relaxing weekend getaway but if you just need somewhere to stay for a quick night, this campground will do just fine. Two bars of service with AT&T.

Reserved 2 nites but only staying one.
I also refused to take either my Ebike or street bike out. The cost of tires would pay for this site 100 times over.
The only place Goat heads don't grow is under trees, and most of them have been removed. Maybe 5 sites with any shade.

Nice Quiet Park, By A Biking Trail, No Hookups But There Are Concrete Pads With Tables. Beware, Tons Of Goat heads That Come In Side On Your Shoes. Watch Out For The Doggies Feet. It’s Gonna Hurt. We Bought New Ebikes And Were Afraid To Ride Due To Flat Tires. Nice Stay Otherwise .

We loved our stay here! The camp hosts were super friendly and helpful. Quiet place but close to town and shopping if you need anything. Excellent cell signal on both attt and Verizon. We originally planned on stopping at a rest stop or Walmart for the night! The $15 is so worth the stop! Very spacious and clean. Hosts were kind and easy going. We did pay the extra $5 for the dump, but ended up not using it. No hook ups.

This is a great little spot beside a super nice neighborhood. Very convenient if you want to explore SLC. Very clean, small dog park, playground and lots of families around. The camp host was super friendly. This place was great but I took one star off because it’s primitive camping and I hate paying for a spot with no amenities. There is a water spigot by our site at least, but you can’t fill an RV from it. Can’t complain for the price near a city though. Very safe.
