This koa was just ok. There is A LOT of construction going on in and around the campground so that took away from the stay a bit. Lots of farm animals there to see if you’re in to that. Aside from the construction issues, the koa is just ok. It can use some tlc. The lots were nothing special. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Follow the directions off I-80 that are on the KOA page. Surprisingly nice park. The store has the most stock that I’ve seen in a KOA, lots of kid activities, nice playground, jumping pillow, petting zoo, miniature golf, gem mining, fishing pond, swimming, etc. trees and number of seasonal campers but the sites are well kept.

After a long day on the road, I was very happy to find a campground with heavily-wooded sites with electrical hookups. I got all settled in, and then, no kidding: a very loud tractor went down the little campground roads right in front of my campsite, towing a trailer with flashing neon lights, carrying a bunch of kids and blasting Miley Cyrus. Not just once, but repeatedly.
I luckily had ear plugs and pulled a blanket over my eyes, so I don't know how late they went, but I saw them at around 10pm before I went to bed.
I believe this conduct doesn't belong in a campground. To my surprise, it wasn't just some obnoxious camper doing it - it was an activity sanctioned by the campground. Needless to say, I don't recommend this place.
As an aside, the check-in process took several minutes and their office was very crowded, and there was a line to use the restrooms.
