This is just as JRF described it. I never would have found it or selected it otherwise. Just this year the State Forest requires fees and permits to camp. It is $15 + $6.50 reservation charge. The way the driveway is angled, if you are towing a trailer, it is best to come in from the west. That can be done by exiting I-80 at Road T349 and then taking Cooper Mill Road down to White Deer Creek Road. Or do as I did and follow Hwy 192 east from Centre Hall through R.B.Winter State Park and by McCall Dam State Park. Pay attention. There is no sign for White Deer Creek Road coming from this direction. If you like peace and quiet, solitude, and being in touch with nature, this is a good place to experience it. The creek crosses the road about a quarter of a mile away. Getting back is a long, bumpy drive on Road 1010 all the way to the town of White Deer Creek and US 15.

“Not far from creek, pretty level and could fit a pretty large camper/trailer in there.”

Nice spot on the south side of the road. Plenty to fit our 17' camper and a friends truck with pop up side by side. Couple of large rocks then blocking access to the rest of the site which had a table and fire ring. Plenty of room for a few tents further back from that.
