Height Restrictions: I know this has been asked before, but has anyone recently been to Watchman with a 13' height? I inquired with a ranger about it and he said that the tunnel height had nothing to do with it and that "The tunnel restrictions are actually 13' 1" but the reason Watchman is lower is because of the trees. To protect the trees and your vehicle we have the height restriction of 12' 6". " We are 13' and don't want to have a problem with it -- going there is not worth knocking off an air conditioner. We stayed in Watchman, Site A28, in a 13’4” high Solitude fifth wheel. No problem with trees in A or B loops. Some tight spots for backing in but we managed. Don’t forget to get water before parking

I was there last September and had no issue within Watchman. I'm 12'-6" high and never felt any hesitation driving into the park. The recreation.gov website has good photos of the sites for trees adjacent to the sites as well as Campsitephotos.com Enjoy!!
