It was quiet here even when other overnight campers left early. We enjoyed walking our dog around the sprawling property. The dog run here is first rate not just a poop pen. Garbage is picked up each morning from the end of your campsite. Laundry and shower was clean. Great stay!

The draw back for us was the tight site we got into and all the fun things were a bit of distance but we got exercise.

We stayed at this CG one night as we were passing through VA to another destination. We would stay here again only if we needed a place to stay but would not seek out this CG as a place to relax and spend several days. We received a 10% military discount. The campground is HUGE with all the amenities: dog park, full-sized swimming pool, children’s playground, large open fields for play, etc. The CG is organized, seems well-maintained and was run by a management company. The staff was friendly, efficient and appeared to be keeping a close eye on the CG. The downside of our stay was the close proximity of all the campsites. There was a camper or tent on every square inch in the CG. We have never seen such a crammed-together mass of humanity in a campground – ever. This CG is big-rig friendly but we could see that some of the roads might be tight for bigger rigs. This CG seems to be a “happening spot” for families or large groups wanting to camp together, which was great. The staff treated the gravel road at night to keep the dust to a minimum during the day. The bathhouse was in the center of the CG; it contained laundry and bath facilities. The showers were generally pretty clean, as were the toilets. This was surprising given the number of people at the campground while we were there. I would have expected that the bathhouse would have been cleaned overnight because of the heavy daytime use. Given the huge number of campers there, the size of the facilities didn’t seem to be large enough to handle that size crowd. We had decent Verizon coverage while at the CG (2-3 bars).

The site was not very level, the power and water was fine, the cable tv hook up was a coax able with no connector hanging off the power pedestal, broken. no sewer at our site. It was clean and gravel surface. we camped on the creek feeding the pond, a shame folks feed the duck was we couldn't eat outside as a result.
There is a high number of horse flys, and resultant painful bites.
The shower house and bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. The only complaint is the shower heads are mounted extremely low, if you are 5' 5 you are probably good, the shower stalls are very small.
The wifi is very good.

This campground exceeded expectations. The sites were level, well-maintained and easily accessed. The pool was closed due to COVID restrictions, but that didn’t affect my experience. A large pond is at the center of the property as well as numerous run-offs where you can constantly see ducks playing, especially fun for kids to watch. Fishing is allowed in the pond and many people had success in catching trout and bass. Staff were receptive and prompt with any requests. Honey bucket service offered with 24 hr advance notice as well as late check-in/out options. Large playground and fenced-in dog park, both of which where very clean. I travel with two dogs and they both loved it. After around 10pm the campground is peaceful and not loud at all. Fire pits and picnic tables provided at each site, some of which are uniquely placed due to the water run-offs throughout the grounds. I didn’t personally use the bathrooms, but on a walk-through they appeared clean. Dump station was easily accessible at the center of the grounds on a roundabout. Location is proximal to some great vineyards/ breweries and the center of town. It’s about a 20-25 min drive to access Shenandoah Natl Park/ Skyline drive or Blue Ridge Parkway. One thing of note: all of the pull-through sites for larger rigs appeared to be in a separate area away from the majority of the sites. It seemed as though this would detract from the overall experience but if you’re traveling in a rig large enough to need a pull-through, I can’t imagine you’re straying away from it for too much. Would definitely stay here again.

This site is the worst we’ve ever stayed at in over 20 years
Electric is on the road with water
Sewer is in the back
Site is so uneven we needed 2 thick boards to get somewhat level
Awning when extended is in the road our truck is so close to the camper we can’t use the fire pit or table.
They put us in our 26 foot camper in a spot that should be for tents only
Office is very rude
Will never return

Just an overnight stay, Very friendly staff. They even stopped by to tell us we might want to bring our flowers in because of low overnight temps, We were on top of the hill and had great views. For those who like to fish there were some good size bass taken from their pond.
