Wasn’t able to stay as someone was already there. The road is fine and it’s only a few minutes off blue ridge parkway.

Went to camp here, but didn’t. Not that nice, the road up the hill was extremely windy and steep. Not recommend for trailers. Victor Road is washed out by a creek.

Limited sites available, maybe 3 sites total. 2 are fairly easy to drive to, one site would require a four-wheel drive as the last 100 yards of road is washed out and on a hill. Feels very secluded. One site is right on a creek and old home site with the chimney still standing.

We seemed to be the only ones down the long gravel Victor Road. Found a campsite with fire pit down by the creek, but didn’t explore enough to know how many sites are there.
It was convenient for us and we enjoyed our stay both nights.

We weren’t sure what to expect when we were on our way to this spot, but Route 80 (especially from the southeast and Marion) is full of twists and turns and while doable, we don’t recommend doing the drive in a 36’ camper towing a vehicle. The site itself is beautiful and remote. Down an old dirt road with very little traffic. There is a stream nearby and an old chimney you can use as a fire pit. About 1 hr 10 min from Asheville proper. Close to Crabtree Falls and other hikes. Would give 5 stars, but difficult to access and zero cell service.
