"Do not even try it"

Turned around on a 18 minute gravel beat up road after four miles. The road was beating my car and the trailer.

"Not going back"

We had reserved site B12, but even though we have only a 17' trailer, between the rocks and tree roots, we had a very difficult time backing into our site and leveling our camper. Then, once we were set up, we plugged in and found out that the... Read more

"Excellent facilities, but definitely an RV Park"

This was a very well maintained park with spacious level parking spots. The bathrooms are first class, and it has good Wifi. Management is nice. There is no shade, and we had a table at our site, but it wasn't a picnic table with seating and... Read more

"Beautiful place, great location"

This is a festival ground set up for live music festivals in non-Covid times. The property is beautiful and campsites are large and spread out. There are well marked trails on the property for hiking and mountain biking. Staff is friendly and... Read more

"So sad..."

We expected the campground to be as comparatively nice as Peaks of Otter Lodge and the rest of the complex, and we were so disappointed, but we felt so sorry for it that we don't want to complain. We had reserved site T28, but it was too shady... Read more

"Beautiful setting"

Of course, there are no hookups here, but water sources are conveniently located throughout the park. We were able to find a threaded faucet near a bathroom that allowed us to fill our water tank with our hose. Some bathrooms have utility sinks... Read more

"Beautiful campground, but expensive for what you get"

This was our second stay here. We had a great level site that was pretty private and quiet. Nice hiking in the park and convenient to Shenandoah National Park. Laundry was cheap at 75 cents a load for washer and and 75 cents for dryer. ... Read more

"Great location for many activities"

We had a cozy site with electricity, close to the bathroom with showers. Nice hiking within the Park, close access to the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail if you like 30 degree grades on a half-mile of gravel with bike shoes. (wish this could... Read more

"Fun place, well maintained"

We had a spacious level site. The bathhouse was large, but it was clean and never crowded. We enjoyed the hiking trails very much, and it was fun to relax at the beach that was for campers only.
