Stayed here on our first overnight on the new River Trail. Both dry or full hook up camping. Easy shuttle of cars from Galax. We dry camped and had a perfect site right next to the river. Bathrooms were clean but need painting Lots of space....

Arrive after dark and there were already several RV’s and vans. Found a good spot and felt totally safe. Road noise an issue but worth it for being at a Cracker Barrel and their friendliness

When you hit the dirt road keep driving till you find a spot Plenty space to find a site. A few permanent campers in the area. Dirt parking space. Felt quite safe. Close to town but remote at the foot of the hills
