Stopped here for a night on my way to Big Bend. The station is fairly new. I went inside to ask if I could stay the night and the two ladies were extremely nice to me. The store was well stocked and bathrooms very clean. But here's the best part.... Read more

This is one of the better BLM spots in my opinion. Most of the road is paved, albeit with a few good sized pot holes - so watch for those. Lots of excellent spots. Next time, I'll follow the paved section to the east as there were some real nice... Read more

The park IS NOT CLOSED. The dump station and restrooms/showers are however closed due to repairs, which is a bummer but they have provided porta johns while they figure it out. It sounds like they have no idea when services will be fully restored.... Read more
