"Great Campground and Location"

Full hookup sites are $32 / night for Oregon residents and $40 for non-residents. Sites are spaced well and some even have hedge rows in between. Clean restrooms and showers. Hiking trails down to the beach with spectacular views. We had 4 bars of... Read more

"Great location for boondocking!"

Wide open space for any size rig and you won't be close to anyone unless you want to be. Close to Safford which has all the stores you might want. Centrally located near several interesting places to explore from one of the largest copper mines to... Read more

"Enjoyable Stay"

Arrived on a Tuesday and drove through looking at sites, checking availability on Recreation.gov. Found several and chose site 37. Water and electric with enough open space for Starlink. Clean bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water. T-Mobile... Read more

"Nice Campground"

This is a quiet and off the beaten path camping destination. We were there Oct. 2-4th and had the entire place to ourselves. Most of the dozen or so sites are right on the water even though the water level is about 10 feet below normal according... Read more

We stayed in nearby Garey Lake State Forest Campground but inspected this one while there. The fee is $6 per person / night but right now it is free due to a water issue. The grass is not being maintained but other than that it is huge with sites... Read more

"Nice Campground"

Small quiet camping area. Can hold a few larger rigs but most sites are better for small rigs or tents. The spots for larger rigs also have good sun exposure for solar. Lake has swimming and kayaking/canoe access. Cell service is minimal but there... Read more

"Quiet "

Many many spaces. Road in was very well groomed. Lots of campers but all spread out. Pretty rolling hills, open fields and trees here and there. Close to Williams, rt 64 and rt 40. Thank you national forest land!

"Great little campgroung"

Small campground that could accomodate many more sites. They are trying to keep campers in actual sites only, but it seems many people camp where ever they find room. There was a host spot but no host was there. Sadly there was the usual broken... Read more
