There were about 5 other campers there, including another. There weren’t any trees and the lake was dried up (as of 5/15/2021) We were surrounded by mountains and mesas on all sides. The only sound in the wide expanse was the bird songs. Bear safe... Read more

We came in late at night and managed to find a spot next to the river. River was low and there was a lot of trash spread around. Also a few domestic cows wandering about. Very cool views of the mountains.
