Camped just opposite KOFA entrance sign. Best thing: Desert Pavement perfect for supporting weight of heavy RV. No one closer than about 150 feet from each other. Serviceable cell signal. Ramble away 1/10 mile from road and your in desert solitude.

Road in from paved state hwy is quite good. Entire CG to ourselves. 4 bar Verizon. Clean, well maintained and campsites are a mere 100 feet from vantage points into the Gila River just below.

We pulled off the Kelbaker Road and headed for this location, which is ONLY about 1/2 mile in. It’s right next to the only (small at that) rock outcropping that is really near to the road. It was occupied, so we kept driving.
