Right off I10 so there is some road noise. Easy to get in and out but slow for the relatively mild washboard and dips in the road. This is just a big gravel area with some fire pits.

For overnight we camped right by the entrance so got road noise at night. Very nice otherwise and would explore further back for a longer stay.

Plenty of bugs in early August. We had lots if shade and the lake view was amazing.
