The upper campground has some spectacular views. There are only 5 sites in the upper campground, three of which have the views, but we were the only ones in the place on a Monday night in May.
We drove through the lower campground, and they were...

What a lovely park! Despite being early in the season, the park was in good shape. We had a spot close to the shower house but screened by a small stand of trees. Showers had GREAT water pressure, plenty of hot water and heat.
The gravel pad was...

Beautiful park. Well-marked spaces. Paved pads made for almost level pull-in from the start. Bathrooms were excellent with individual shower/toilet rooms that were well lit. Heat or at least hot water would have been nice as it was quite cold....

This is a lovely little campground for primitive camping. Look for signs to the Pine Campground. (The Campendium coordinates take you about a mile north. The Oak Campground is for groups.) All of the sites are shaded, most under a beautiful pine...

This park is one of the best we’ve visited. It is extremely well-maintained. Being teardrop campers, the shower houses are very important, and these are sparkling clean with excellent water pressure. Lots of space between sites, and choice between...

This is a beautiful park with many activities and a friendly, helpful staff. However, as others have said, beware the bugs. We thought maybe they wouldn’t be as bad in early May, but we finally needed to set up our screen tent to escape them....

Great place to disconnect, but not at all big-rig friendly. Many of the sites are for tents only, so pay attention to the description on recreation.gov. There were 2 pull-through sites, but most were short back-ins. The road in was quite steep,...

As others have said, a cute little park, and very welcome as an overnight stop.
The important thing we discovered was that the online reservation system wouldn’t accept same-night reservations, so be sure to arrive before the clerk leaves...

Others give a very accurate description of the layout and amenities. For us in our little teardrop, the best thing was the bathhouse! It was one of the best we’ve ever had at a campground. Extremely clean, good hot water, excellent showers.

Others have summed this place up well. The only addition I would make is that there is only a single shower stall, and I could see it having lines in busy season.
AT&T coverage was 4 bars LTE, but websites seemed to load slowly.
