Overall Rating

We stayed March 22, 2022. it was quiet, very little traffic on the road. A peaceful, creekside place for an overnight stay. Vault toilet was clean, there was a large gravel pile but it didn’t really bother us. It was chilly and there was snow on the road over the pass to the east in the morning. We would stay again

Overall Rating

Upper Gallinas is a beautiful campground. It was easy to get to and makes a great campsite for a night or two. I was forced to stay here because none of the other sites were open due to the recent heavy rainfall. All three campsites were within feet of the stream. Being so close to highway 152, there is quite a bit of road noise. Also there is no cell phone reception here. So if thats a deal breaker, don't stay here!
