Spent 10 days, 9 nights boondocking on North Star Mesa. Wonderful site! We were totally off grid. No one else camping within miles of us. Went the last week of June/first week of July, 2023.

Do not need 4 wheel drive to get there! Where we camped was on a forest road that is not listed on any maps. The turnoff road only goes about a quarter of a mile, and at the end is a loop that allows for easy turn around. Could get 5-8 small rigs at the site for people who want to meet up. Could hear a car doing down North Star Road, but no one came down the road that led to the road we took the entire time we were there. Did not see anyone else the entire time of the trip. We did not need to level our rig, was only off by 1/4 of an inch. Plenty of shade, and we parked where we could get full sun for our solar. Could gather far more firewood that we needed.

No cell service, and water available at Lake Roberts, about 5 miles away.

Very little trash at the site. Saw one rabbit, but no other wildlife. However, it is a great location for anyone into bird watching.
