Managed to get a campsite overlooking the lake. Some of the spots are pretty close to each other but it’s manageable. Several pit house restrooms throughout the campground. A typical campground experience

Long dirt road to get in with a couple iffy spots but made it in my Chevy express van with no problems. I will definitely come back here!

We came here to kayak. The place has a small beach that was taken over by one large trailer, they parked it in such a way that no one could pull up, rude! We set up camp just a few hundred feet away so it wasn’t too bad. The place was busy but it never felt busy due to shrubbery and trees all over. Sites are quite private.
The kayaking in the river was incredible, the river is in a canyon and it lends to gorgeous views.
