Overall Rating

Managed to get a campsite overlooking the lake. Some of the spots are pretty close to each other but it’s manageable. Several pit house restrooms throughout the campground. A typical campground experience

This is such a beautiful spot! We went Sat-Mon and Saturday was a little crowded, but we were the only ones there all Sunday and Monday. Not much to explore without a water craft (kayak here would be perfect) unless you want to walk along the main dirt road. We stayed here because the Roosevelt lake was too busy, it was Easter weekend and we didn’t think it will be THAT busy, we were wrong. We decided to drive past the dam and were rewarded with the beautiful view of the river. We came here to kayak.
