Though the Prime RV spots are laid out in typical parking lot fashion, they are much wider than most and quite long for larger rigs, and have picnic tables with awnings and firepits. The views of the surrounding mountains are wonderful and the hookups are nice and new. The staff is very helpful and super friendly. The bartender makes great drinks, especially bloody Mary's, Long Island Ice Teas and Margaritas. The pizza is awesome. They also have live music on most weekends, and we really enjoyed having cocktails and listening to the band. The store can keep you supplied with most everything you might run out of. The bathrooms and laundry are quite a ways away from where we were, and at the time the water heater wasn't working so cold wash only. There is no cell service but the Wi-Fi worked well though most of our outgoing texts got queued up. We did receive texts without too much issues. You can drive out of the canyon about 5 miles to get cell service.
We have one issues that we think the resort should address. The unpaved roads or what they claim are roads, are very sketchy with lots of potholes and you bounce all over the place. And when it rains, it is a muddy mess. With this improvement we would give this place 5 stars as we had a very nice time here and we aren't even fishermen or hikers. Please note, do not enter at first sign; go to the store to check-in.

We were able to book a full hookup site at the last minute, we had never been in the area before and were pleasantly surprised to discovery the Twin Lakes area. Our site did not have a view of the lake, some premium site do, however every site has views of the beautiful mountains and trees. Check-in is at the well stocked Marina store with very friendly staff. Our site was set up in a “spoke&wheel” configuration which we thought might be odd, but it turned out fine with plenty of privacy and not lined up next to another rig. There is fast WiFi. The next morning we drove around and looked at the other camping options, there are a number of FS grounds, most are tent sites no hookups. Many Forest Service locations that were first-come in prior years are taking or requiring reservations since Covid and their website has not been updated! The lakes are beautiful with lots of folks fishing. We intend to return and stay for a longer visit.

Love this place, location location location.
Sights are crowded kids are crazy, but they do have a new pull threw area that is great. Workers are super friendly. And it's right across from the lake.
