Park is ok, but there is a road between park and water. Places are in the shade, great on hot days, not in June in the rain.

On a sunny day, this park is wonderful, with a nice stream and old(ish) growth forest trail. We had T12 next to the stream, which is my favorite location in this small park. No Verizon reception, and typically mediocre state park bathrooms, though.

We barely got 2 30 foot trailers into sites on the back side of the campground. Some of the spots on the backside have creek access with soothing sounds. If you have a smaller (20-25 ft trailer) this will open up more spots at the campground. Plus having the state park right across the street was good to get to see the sights of the Puget sound. This park will really shine during the hot summer months as it is heavily shaded at all times. Great state park campground. We filmed a couple videos here for our Youtube channel including a complete site by site review of the campground. - Unique Adventurez

The awnings of your neighbors rig just about touch your rig. We fit our 35 ft Motorhome in the spot but very unlevel and tight. Also the park was extremely noisy being so close to the highway. Very tight roads to maneuver through the park and lots of tree logs along the side of the roads. Lots of dogs off leash running around and their didn’t seem to be any real management of the park. Also definitely a party destination.

The area is gorgeous and there are lots of cute little shops and restaurants to explore. The beach is rocky and has a lot of shells but still nice to walk on.
The cons are this campground is tiny. I barely fit into my site. In fact my front tires ate some tree stumps getting in. I have a 34ft class A. I believe they should probably not take anything over 32ft here with the awkward layout and tight turns.
The sites are placed haphazardly and people are right up on one another. Everyone has their campfires going and due to the lack of space between sites you can't even have your windows open it's so smokey. I'm not very sensitive to smoke at all and it as out of control here. For the price of $42/night this is high for a state park. I heard there was a larger state park nearby which is better suited for large vehicles. I wish I had done more research on that.

Beach was across the road and very scenic but rocky, good for exploring but not lounging. Nice trail for hiking. Alderbrook Resort is down the road so a few good restaurants but no larger markets. Restrooms were just ok. Belfast State Park is farther north and a better option for large trailers and motor homes.
