Dog and I enjoyed our stay here. Potable water is in the spigot about 20 ft from the black box and the spigot in the picnic area. The other spigots aren't city water. Price has gone up to $30 a night or $15 for dry camping. 4 bars tmobile. Very interesting town with museums and shops.

It was a little confusing when we first got here. The animal shelter is across the street. I am posting pictures of the black box where you put your money- $20 for electric and $10 for dry camping. Cash only. I would definitely camp here again.

Saw some young people working with cattle, looked like they were having fun. A friendly dog also came up to say hi, but didn’t stay around long.
We went to drive through the town after setting up, and there is an old prison museum there and some other things, but it was after hours so we didn’t go in. Looked interesting, though.
We also drove by a cemetery and stopped to look around there for a few minutes. A lot of the older graves were people who had immigrated from Ireland and France. I thought that was interesting too.
Another camper came up as we were walking around the property and set up down from us, they were from Deer Lodge and were there to visit.
It was a quiet beautiful night. We felt safe and will go back again if we ever come through again.
$20 a night, put our cash in the black box on the blue ribbon barn.

There are 50 amp boxes but you’re not supposed to use them since they are on the well manicured grass. I called to let them know I was coming, but no reservations. Opened the gate to let myself in and left my $20 in the black box on the front of the big Blue Ribbon barn. Close the fence behind you, there were cattle free grazing in the field with us but they didn’t seem bothered by us. Good option when boondocking but just need electric for the A/C on a really hot summer day.

NEW DUMP STATION!
beside the Blue Ribbon barn ìs an animal washing pen and a dump. Water (not signed potable or other) there and several other spots around the grounds.
We and our neighbor didn't have any trouble with power or finding the paybox.
“Mosquitoes ”

We arrived and found the electric hook ups, no box anywhere to pay, and birds of mosquitoes!! We plugged in, our power surge lit up but no power going to our RV. We had to leave and find somewhere else to stay. DON’T COME HERE!!!
