Beautiful scenery with lake and surrounding mountains. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location has just what you need when passing through. Even has a general store.

We enjoyed our stay at this Campground. We wouldn't return again, but that doesn't mean we don't recommend it. The staff at this KOA was great!! They were so friendly, helpful and kind. You could tell it was a close knit community. They seemed to have a lot of extended stay campers. The sites were level and they had a playground with swings for the kids. They gave free coffee and hot chocolate. Their store was well stocked with items, if you forgot something it was a good chance they carried it! They were close to the lake. You could walk down and go fishing! I didn't use their bathrooms, but I heard from the other campers we were with that they were nice and clean!
Our site was an OK size. It included a fire ring amd picnic table. They came every morning to pick up our trash, which was really great!
There isn't any grass at this Campground. It was on a gravel parking lot. The wifi wasn't the greatest, but I was happy they had it. We travel with our family of 6 (kids age ranging 4-13) and there really weren't a lot of amenities for them like other KOAs, but it was the off season too. They did have a little library of books for them to read!
All in all the Campground was fine, I would recommend it, but like I said earlier wouldn't stay again!

Very level parking. I was a little disappointed I had to unhook. However I could park parallel next to my trailer. Very quiet, and VERY DARK. Great for star gazing. Hook ups are right where they need to be. I will stay here again.

We stayed here one night while transitioning from Glacier to Yellowstone. We called ahead the night before and did not have a hard time getting 2 sites. The staff was very friendly when making the reservation and also when we checked in.
The campground is mostly gravel and the sites are fairly close together (what you'd expect of a commercial campground). Our site was a pull through with water/electric and a sewer dump onsite. There is also a restaurant/grill next door, but only outside seating is available. There's also coin laundry onsite. Most of the campers come here to fish and many appear to be seasonal campers. There are a lot of extra vehicles and boats around.
This area is on the plains of Montana and the night we arrive the wind howled all night long. My FIL had to keep his slides closed because he was afraid the wind would tear up his slide toppers.
If you're into fishing it looked liked like a great place to be. The lake is good sized and there were a lot of fisherman on the water. We were staying just to pass through. We stayed here in a 30 ft travel trailer.
