We have a 35 ft 5th wheel and had no issues. As others have said, just avoid the first right turn off. Would 100% come back. Also some great spots to park several large trailers together if camping with friends. Side note… Bryce Canyon has showers for $3 per person that were greatly enjoyed after several days on the road. Don’t pass this place up!

We stayed here 2 nights, October 12 and 13, 2024. This was Indigenous/Columus day weekend. Came in around 1pm Saturday and had no problem finding a site. As others have said, sites are pretty level, far apart, and easy access. Great place to stay if you like boondocking. We hiked the Golden Wall trail, which was awesome!

Got here in the early evening. You have to drive down a dirt road maybe a quarter mile. Immediately, you’ll see campers scattered throughout. I was not hard to find a spot. I found one right off the road my first day. Flat, dirt surface. Had a fire circle. The second night I found a spot just as fast. This time under trees. There is more than enough space amongst campers. I was around several people but they were all at least 50 years away. Restrooms right off the main road. Bring your own water and trash. Recommend a broom to sweep pine needles.

It was not hard to find a spot. My first day I found one right off the road with a fire pit. The second day I found another with logs for fire. There’s enough space and distance from everyone. I stayed two nights and had no issues. Some noise from the distance from kids but what can you do. There is a restroom off the main road. Bring your own water and trash. I encourage a brown to sweep pine.

Stayed here one night on 11/8/23. Looks like a marvelous area. We just took one of the first sites available off Hwy 12. Saw the lights of two other campers way off through the trees. Nothing to add to other reviewers except that there have been prescribed burns through the campsites recently. There are still a few areas with some stumps burning. About a fourth of the brushy ground surface has been burned so it is not really a hinderance to doing anything here. The smoke didn't seem bad last evening when we pulled in but it is kind of smoky. Clear skies. 15 degrees this morning.
Coming in last night it looked like there was a paved bike trail alongside hwy 12 which goes to Bryce Canyon park from here.

There are a lot of sites along Tom's Best Spring Road, so you won't need to venture off into the woods very far. It's relatively quiet with lots of nice trees, yet it's easy to find a location where solar and Starlink will work. We highly recommend this location providing you don't need cell service.

We saw the sign for Toms best spring from Johns Valley rd. We had no cell/internet service so we were a bit confused as how far to drive before we started to see the dispersed camping sites. We did see the actual Toms Spring, as you do have to drive through Hunt creek to get to it.
When we finally obtained cell/internet service we realized we were coming from the opposite direction.
We were able to find a decent site to camp for 1 night. As it was a bit busy.
Those leaving reviews should add a bit more details and direction.
